Introduction

This booklet contains three parts:

Part A is a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) designed to help you understand what you need to know about Medibank Pet Insurance so that you can decide whether to proceed with this cover. The PDS has been prepared by the insurer and product issuer, Hollard and describes the main features and benefits of Medibank Pet Insurance. Hollard has sole responsibility for the PDS and the assessment and payment of claims. Medibank Pet Insurance is not issued or guaranteed by Medibank Private and Medibank Private is not involved, nor liable, in any manner in respect of the assessment and payment of benefits under Medibank Pet Insurance.

I. Know your goal
It may sound obvious, but if you don’t have an end-point in mind you’ll never get there. You should be able to clearly state the goal of your project in a single sentence. If you can’t, your chance of achieving it is slim.

II. Know your team
Your team is the most important resource you have available and their enthusiastic contribution will make or break your project. Look after them and make sure the team operates as a unit and not as a collection of individuals. Communications are vital! Invest time in promoting trust and ensuring that everyone knows what they have to contribute to the bigger picture. Dish out reward as well as criticism, provide superior working conditions and lead by example.

There is a wide range of highly effective and innovative products for gardeners to care for and protect their plants against insects, snails and slugs. These pests can be combated in the garden by breaking reproduction cycles, getting good insects to eat your bad insects, getting other animals to eat your pests, and making your vegetables unpalatable to pests.

SNAILS AND SLUGS
Snail and slugs are your gardens worst enemies due to their excessive breeding and rapid destruction. These mollusks cause trouble in the garden and they also find their way into the house or the garden shed.

LEAF EATERS
Leaf eaters are how we describe caterpillars, grubs, leaf-eating beetles, grasshoppers and borers. You know you’re in trouble when you can see holes and missing portions in branches, stems, shrubs, buds, flower petals and fruit. It is important that the problem is dealt with as soon as possible before the damage is irreparable.

What is SWOT?
Qualitative self-assessment is an important aspect of data driven prevention planning that augments more quantitative analyses that are usually done. Using the following document as a reference, you can conduct a qualitative assessment of the critical aspects of your suicide prevention effort that identifies its Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. In the course of this evaluation you may determine that certain aspects fall into more than one category; for example, a shift in state political leadership might be both a threat and an opportunity. After conducting a SWOT analysis, you and your coalition will be able to make better choices as you move through the various phases of planning and implementation.

Necessary Components
Because of the collaborative nature of this tool, your working group will need certain qualities to succeed:

The type of High Definition Television (HDTV) that you should purchase will depend on your requirements for the conference room where you plan to use video communications.

There are a few different considerations that you will need to be aware of when selecting from a wide-range of HDTV offerings. An overview of each area is covered:

• Resolution – 720p or 1080i
• Monitor Size
• Type of Display – LCD, Plasma, Rear-Projection, etc.

In working with an experienced reseller and AV integrator, it will be important to address the following questions specific to your application:

• How large is the conference room? What is the configuration?
  Is this a multi-purpose room?
• How many people will typically be in the room for a videoconference?
• How will the monitors be displayed?
• Will there need to be one or more monitors to display video, multipoint and multimedia?

Organ donation
Organ donation is the gift of an organ to help someone else who needs a transplant. Hundreds of people’s lives are saved each year by organ transplants. Organs that can be donated by people who have died include the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, pancreas and small bowel. Tissue such as skin, bone, heart valves and corneas can also be used to help others.

When can organ donation take place?
Doctors and nurses are committed to doing everything possible to save life. Organs are only removed for transplantation once all attempts to save life have failed and after death has been certified by a doctor or doctors who are entirely independent of the transplant team.

Most donated organs come from people who die from a severe brain injury and who receive treatment on a ventilator in an intensive care unit. The brain injury damages vital centres in the brain stem which are essential to maintain life. No one can live once these centres have been destroyed. Tests can show conclusively when this has happened.
