Vision Statement
The founding vision statement of the Office of Haitian Ministries and Norwich Mission House sums up our goals and our aspirations:

We of the Haitian Ministries Office of the Diocese of Norwich join with other members of the body of Christ in joyful response to the Lord’s words “Love one another as I have loved you.” In responding to this Gospel mandate, we choose to walk in solidarity with the Haitian people, recognizing them as family, promoting their dignity and encouraging their self-determination.

Therefore, through our presence, collaboration, education for justice in Haiti and the United States and the channeling of resources and talents, we commit ourselves to enable the Haitian people to realize their full potential.

Joining hands and hearts with the original diocesan groups who journeyed to Haiti and whose dream was to work with the Haitian people, we continue to collaborate in building a new Haiti, born of suffering, courage, hope, love, compassion, and justice — a new Haiti standing as a dignified member of the global community.

Introduction

If you need blood, you have several options. These options include receiving blood from the community, using your own blood (autologous), or blood from donors that you have selected (designated donors). Your options may be limited by time and health factors. Although you have the right to refuse a blood transfusion, this decision may hold life threatening consequences.

It is important to weigh the risks, costs and benefits of donating your own blood before surgery. Many elective surgeries do not require blood transfusions. If you have questions about transfusion needs or options, please ask your doctor. Check with your insurance company about your costs for donation. If you choose not to donate your own blood, or if more blood is required than expected, you may receive blood other than your own.

Browsing for Books on Interior Design and Interior Designers
Most books and journals having to do with Interior Design are located in the section of the library stacks. However, you should not overlook other areas, for example: NA (Architecture), TH (Building Construction).

Prerequisites

• fair knowledge of Java (or at least object oriented programming concepts in another language)
• knowledge of HTML
• basics of web applications (preferably J2EE)
• Fair knowledge of SQL (SELECT, stored procedures, triggers)
• knowledge of source control (e.g. Subversion) is a plus

Minimum Laptop Requirements

• dual core processor
• 2Gb RAM
• Linux/Windows OS (MacOS is strongly advised against)
• installed latest community edition of Openbravo ERP (if not, a virtual appliance will be provided on the course) – Postgres database should be used since all materials and solutions are based on it.
