LNP-102U USB VoIP Phone Quick Installation Guide
Before You Begin
You will need the following:
- Computer with an available USB 1.1 port or higher.
- Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP (All use Windows built-in audio driver).
- To use Skype with the USB phone, your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:
- PC running Windows 2000 or XP.
- 400 MHz processor
- 128 MB RAM
- 15 MB free disk space on your hard drive
- Internet Connection
With provided API installed

Installing Skype
LNP-102U working with Skype makes the best result, though it can also work with other VOIP software. Thus
it is recommended that you install the Skype software first. The Skype software is free to download, and you
can get the latest version from www.skype.com. Please go to the website directly for the detailed Skype operating instructions.
When using Skype for the first time, double-click the Skype icon, and enter your Skype Name and Password in order to log in to Skype.
When your Skype status is online, the status icon shows green.
When your Skype is disconnected, the status icon shows gray. Please check you computer for Internet connection.
Note : When LNP-102U works with MSN Messenger or other VOIP software, it can only perform the function of audio input/output. The keypad function is not working.
1) Downloading and Installing
To download Skype to your computer, simply click the download link above and save the installation file to your computer. Be sure to remember where you saved the file (the desktop might be a good place).
Once the file has downloaded completely, please open the folder containing the file you downloaded. Double-click the installation file you just downloaded to start installing Skype on your computer.
2) Minimum System Requirements
In order to use Skype for Windows software, your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:
- PC running Windows 2000 or XP
- 400 MHz processor
- 128 MB RAM
- 15 MB free disk space on your hard driver.
- Internet connection. Any broadband connection or minimum 33.6 Kbps dialup. GPRS is not supported for voice calls. Results may vary on a satellite connection.
3) Other nice Skype ideas
- With SkypeOut, you can use Skype to call ordinary phone numbers all over the world.
- SkypeIn is a real phone number your friends can call. You pick up the call in Skype.
- Skype Voicemail lets you direct calls when you’re busy or offline to your voicemail.
- LCD Display The user menu, incoming call number and whom inline will be display in the screen.
