The objectives of an In-store Demonstration
Demonstrations are an integral part of today’s supermarket shopping experience.
Customers enjoy the presence of demonstrations in our stores, and careful planning is an essential ingredient to making each demonstration a success.
The main objectives of a demonstration are:
- to encourage as many customers as possible to sample the product.
- to create excitement within stores.
- to communicate (face to face) the main features and benefits of the product, making it a more personal experience.
- to convert the trial into a purchase.
The Environment
With the environment high on Woolworths’ list of priorities, Woolworths’ In-Store Demonstrations promotes the practice of environmentally friendly demonstration programs.
Tips on how you can help reduce your environmental footprint in store:
- use environmentally friendly sampling disposables during presentations.
- separate recyclable from non-recyclable rubbish, either during or at the conclusion of the demonstration session.
- responsibly disposing of rubbish and scraps.
