FM2006060501 (FollowMe - Microsoft SQL Server - Replication Guide)

To ensure the SQL replication works correctly you should first ensure the MSSQLSERVER service and the SQLSERVERAGENT are running under a non Local System account.

  1. Load up the Windows Services manager.
  2. Under the MSSQLSERVER properties, ensure the service runs under a local or domain administrator account.

Create Publication Wizard :

  1. Choose Publication Database - Choose the database that contains the data or objects you want to publish.
  2. Select Publication Type - Select the publication type the best supports the requirements of your application.
  3. Specify Subsciber Type - What types of Subcribers will subscribe to this publication?
  4. Specify Articles - Publish table and other database as article. You can filter the published data later in wizard.
  5. Articles Issue - The following issues may require changes to your application to ensure it continues to operate as expected.
  6. Select Publication Name and Description - Select a name and description for this publication.
  7. Customize the Properties of the Publication - Define data filters or customize the remaining properties : otherwise, create the publication as specified.
