First, make sure the switch on the CodeBreaker DS v.2 is switched to the ON position.

With your Nintendo DS Lite powered OFF, insert the CodeBreaker DS into SLOT 1 (just like you would insert a Nintendo DS game).

With your Nintendo DS Lite still switched off, insert a game of you choosing into the CodeBreaker DS v.2. To do this, the Nintendo DS game label should be facing the Nintendo DS Lite with the pins facing away from the Nintendo DS Lite but towards the CodeBreaker DS v.2

Once completed, switch your Nintendo DS Lite ON and you are good to go!

Once CodeBreaker DS v.2 has loaded, you will be presented with two screens containing information and options.
